So sorry to hear of Woody's passing. I served with Woody in 1966-67 on the Uss Gyatt. One of my memories of Woody was that he loved singing country especially Hank Williams Your Cheating Heart. I always admired him because he was so caring to everyone. I send my late condolences to his family. I wished I would have spoken to him before his passing.

I was sorry to read of Woody's passing, but can tell you that Senior Chief Jim Fisher was there at the pearly gates to welcome him.
I fondly remember all of us working together on CNET Staff back in the 70's.
Be strong, Brenda - after all, you're a proud Navy wife too and we are strong!

Woody was always a pleasant and special person to be associated with. He always expressed himself well. Woody loved his family an involved himself in many of their activities, making him what I call a real Pop.
Living out of state I didn't have much time visiting but I enjoyed the time we had together. Soft spoken and well versed in Government Affairs (didn't dare to challenge him on this subject}.
He loved tinkering with woodwork an gardening, it gave him much pride in his accomplishments.
We will miss Woody and we all in Texas send our
condolences to his wife and our sister Brenda.
