MaryJane Miller Eades

1924 - 2016

Eades, MaryJane Miller,

age 91 received the Lords call on April 6, 2016 with loving family by her side. She was born November 17, 1924 in Madsionville, KY the daughter of Brucker Miller and Kate Jackson Miller. MaryJane was a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she received her Masters Degree in Social Work and was President of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Her professional career began with Hopkins County Schools, as Director of Pupil Personnel. MaryJane was a Kentucky, Democratic Party Delegate in attendance at the 1968 Presidential Election. Following a move to Louisville, she became Coordinator with the Kentucky Crime Commission in the Department of Justice. MaryJane cherished her time spent in the Garden Clubs of both Louisville, KY and Punta Gorda, FL and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Member of both Punta Gorda Country Club and Owl Creek Country Club where she was an avid bridge player.

MaryJane, married the love of her life Herbert "Bud" Eades (Central City, KY) enjoying 55 wonderful years before Buds 2010 passing. The couples legacy is survived by four daughters, Kathy Erwin (Punta Gorda, FL), Lesile Esarey (Bill) (Winchester, KY), Elizabeth Brazeau (Louisville, KY), Marty Hartmann (John) (Louisville, KY). Seven Grandchildren; Katie Wirth (Michael), Brucker Esarey, Kristie Skaggs (Jeremy), Lauren Harney (Travis), Teel & Miller Hartmann along with eleven Great Grandchildren.

The family would like to express their appreciation of the special care provided by Jefferson Place and all her friends at the Forum of Louisville.

Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday April 11, 2016 at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m until time of service on Monday. Services will be conducted by the Reverend Erin Davis Rouch.
