Billy Bartley Obituary
Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Auty and Myrtle Mullins Bartley. He was a retired coal truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Loriene Bartley; two sons, Michael Joe Bartley of Clinchco and Derwin Glenn (Rebecca) Bartley of Coeburn; a daughter, Wanda Sue Mullins of Clinchco; two sisters, June (Oliver) Hill of Haysi and Faye (Bob) Comer of Colo.; two brothers, Earl Bartley of Kingsport and C.R. (Ruby) Bartley of Dumfries, Va.; and six grandchildren, Tristan Jade Mullins, Christopher Glenn Bartley, Cecina Bartley, Anthony Heath Mullins, Austin Donta Bartley and Emily Bartley.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Haysi Funeral Home, with Elder Willie Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner-Bartley Cemetery, Clinchco. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home, where a song service will be held at 7 p.m.
