Michael Durlock Obituary
For over 20 years, Michael worked for Zenith Fuel System. He also was a foster parent for the State of Tennessee. Michael loved people and enjoyed helping them anyway he could. He was a member of Blountville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Durlock.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Durlock of the home; two sons, Wes Fleenor and fiancée Nikki Canter and Alex Durlock, all of Bristol Tennessee; two daughters, Jamie Greer and husband Tim and Melinda Carr and husband Eric, all of Bristol Tennessee; father, Carl Durlock of Michigan; two sisters, Susie Weber and Debbie Stafford, both of Michigan; five brothers, Carl Durlock, Wayne Durlock, Brian Durlock, Steven Durlock and Dennis Durlock, all of Michigan; one grandchild, Lexi Greer; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mr. Michael A. Durlock will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at the Akard Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Murphy officiating. The committal service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday at Akard Funeral Home prior to the service.

All the memories we share, is what bonds us together. As kids, we lived together, we fought, we laughed, we cried. We did not always show the love that we both had inside. We shared our dreams, plans and some secrets. We grew to find we have a love, a love that is very strong. It’s a love that will never fade away. Deb and Family,
I am truly sorry to hear about Michael. I am glad that his suffering is over; watching a loved one fail is too hard. I'm sure now that he's in heaven, you'll have an angel to look over all of you until you see him again. Have faith. Know that I'll keep you all in my prayers.
