ROBERT (BOB) T KINSLEY Bob Kinsley, 90, of West Richland died peacefully at his home Feb 15th, 2018 with family by his side. He was born in Quincy, Mass May 21, 1927 to A. Thomas and Mildred S. Kinsley, their only child. The family moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in his adolescent years. He attended Yale University and was enlisted in the US Army and US Navy. He married M. Patricia Heilman in Maumee, OH in 1951. They started their married life in Washington, DC, and soon moved to Pittsburgh, PA to work for Westinghouse and start his family, welcoming son Kenneth Thomas and daughter Judith Theresa. Bob and Pat moved throughout the States, to Idaho Falls ID, Pasco WA, Ogden, UT, Delevan, NY and finally Carlsbad, NM before returning to WA, residing in West Richland. They welcomed 5 grandchildren, David and Phillip Kinsley, and Jared, Kari and Kyle Pierce, as well as 7 great grandchildren, who all enjoyed their time with Great Grandpa Bob. Bob was an avid stamp collector, belonging to a number of national philatelic organizations, serving for many years as the secretary of the Military Postal Society. He was a member of the Tri Cities Stamp Club. He also enjoyed traveling; two of his favorite destinations were Ocean Shores, WA and Phoenix, AZ, visiting the Elks and Eagles Clubs. Bob is survived by his son, Kenneth (Kathy) Kinsley, and Judy Pierce (Jeff Johnson) his 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 2006, and his parents. The family had a private gathering to honor Bob. He will be missed by all that knew him.
