Every memory I have of Steve makes me smile, many make me chuckle, quite a few bring me to tears of laughter. He was a wonderful, kind and thoughtful friend and he made a young English lad who was far from home (i.e. me!) feel truly welcome in his world. I roomed with Steve for 5+ months in Mobile 1994 and we had a blast, along with the other fellas already mentioned by Johnnie in his message. I'm generally easy going I think, but I wish I could be even half as chilled out as Steve was about everything! Steve was one of my best friends, I loved him and I will miss him like crazy... but I will never ever forget him and the fun times we had. The world is a much poorer place without him but I am a much richer person for having known him. Cheers Steve!

Our family at the Moxee Hop Festival will miss Steve VERY much. He was a talented and easy guy to work with! We are saddened to learn of his passing and send along our deepest concern to all Steve's family and friends.

I only knew Steve through Concert Productions and had worked with him a few times in a couple of bands In played in.
Steve was always professional and very easy mannered. Even with difficult situations he seemed to stay calm and collected. I always thought of him as a gentle soul every time I would see him. Very pleasant to be around and I believe he genuinely liked and cared for the people he worked with and considered friends. Sorry he is no longer with us.
Great talent and a great human being! RIP my friend!
My condolences to his family and friends.
