Henry Dudek

DUDEK, HENRY COHOES - Henry S. Dudek, 84, of Jennings Place died Monday January 31, 2011 at his residence. Born in Halfmoon he was the son of the late Steve and Josephine Jarosz Dudek. Henry was a dairy farmer all of his life and worked with his family on the Dudek Dairy Farm in Halfmoon. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Cohoes where he was a member of the Bingo Committee. He was a member of the PNA Club in Cohoes and was a former member of St. Michael's Community Center. Henry loved Polish music and to dance the Polka. As a young man played the Bass Fiddle at many local Square Dancing events. He also enjoyed bowling and belonged to several area bowling leagues. He was the husband of the late Valerie Jarosz Dudek and father of Monica Bentley (James) of Brunswick, Michael Dudek (Helen) of Montclair, NJ, Paul Dudek (Tara) of Santa Cruz, CA and Pamela Jerome (William) of Waterford. He was the brother of Stanley Dudek of Waterford, the late William, John, Matthew and Mary Dudek. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Brian, Kelly and Eric Bentley, Laura and William Dudek, Allison and Jenna Jerome, Jackson and Karlie Dudek as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 8:15 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's Church in Cohoes. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford.
