Dad, I can't believe next week will be 5 months since your death. Everyday as I pass down the hallway and see your picture I still can't believe you are gone, it almost seems like a dream. I know God chose you that day for a reason and we must accept that, but I wish you were still here with us. I know you have been watching over Lil john because of all the signs, please continue watching over all of us. Guide us through life, especially all your grandchildren. We love you and miss you. Until we meet again.
Love you,
John, Laura & Lil John

I am so sorry to learn of Luis' passing. I worked at the Desert Museum as staff in the Education Department and as a docent. Now I'm a volunteer at the museum. Luis always had a smile and a greeting (en español también!) whenever we met. I so enjoyed his smile and positive attitude, no matter what the weather or job to be done. I admired his dedication to his job and love of the museum and the Sonoran Desert. I heard he retired a short time ago and missed seeing him each day. Now I will miss him even more.
