I met REGGIE on the river many years ago. When you saw the shima-lacka-boom boom coming down the river it was on.WE Camped, cooked, played the blues, and would even bet on which way a burning log would fall from the fire. Shade City has too many good stories to tell. Reggie had a lust for life and passed it on to everyone he met.We will all have precious memories and stories to tell about the crazy things he did.Oh and God if you play dominoes with Reg make sure you^r not sitting in front of a mirror.I^m just sayihg.

Its hard to believe that our Reggie is gone. He was bigger than life. His talent to make us laugh were beyond legendary. If you were fortunate enough to find that you were in his room in school you knew you were going to have a good year.
His pranks and jokes are still talked about 50 years later. Like when pulled over by the police and as the officer pulled out the ticket pad, Reggie ordered a hamburger and fries. Or, pretending to pass out in Mr. Davis's ag class and winking at the boys as Mr. Davis prepared to revive him. We all watched his familiar "bird walk" as he walked across the football field at graduation for the class of 70.
His talent with the harmonica was also legendary.
He was gifted in so many ways and those of us (and there are many) that had the gift of knowing Reggie are better people for it.
He will not be forgotten because we all have Reggie stories and love to tell them. I believe Reggie would like that.
My prayers and love to Debbie and the family.
