Extending my deepest sympathies in Ed's passing. He left a huge footprint on the hearts of any one who served in the 257th Military Police Company. He will be greatly missed. Praying God's comfort in your days of sadness. Much respect to a wonderful man, I was honored to serve with him.

TO THE BIEGING FAMILY.
HE WAS MY FIRST SERGEANT WITH 257 M.P. COMPANY. HE ALWAYS WENT OUT OF HIS WAY FOR HIS POEPLE IN THE MILITARY, WHAT EVER CAME TO HIM WE WOULD SET DOWN
AND TALK ABOUT IT, IN THE BEST WAY. I REMEMBER ONE DAY
HE CAME OVER TO THE MOTOR POOL AND SAID WHAT ARE
YOU DOING LON, I SAID PUTTING IN A NEW WINDOW THAT,
WAS BROKEN, SO HELPED ME PUT IN.HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL.
O ALMIGHTY GOD THE RULER OF ALL NATIONS, IN WHOSE
HAND IS ALLPOWER AND MIGHT. MAY THEY CONTINUE TO BE
A POWER OF PEACE, AND PRESERVE IN ALL GENERATIONS TO
COME. AMEN

I am truly sorry to hear about Ed's passing. I will miss him. He was not just my 1SG in the 257th Military Police Company but a friend.

To the Bieging Family - I admired your father greatly over the years - He was my first ever First Sergeant with the 257th MP's in White Bear Lake and we have maintained a friendship over the years. I will always recall the mornings of drill when Ed would call muster and we had to reply with our first name and middle initial. There were many variations of replies from the soldiers to try and get your father to lose a little of his composure - but honestly, I think it only happened once!! He was a terrific person who will be deeply missed - especially by the Breakfast Club group.
Sincerely,
Mary Jo "B"

To the Bieging Family - I served with your father in the 257th MP's - he was my first First Sergeant and we maintained a friendship throughout the years even after we both retired from the military. He was the strong, quiet leader, whom I came to admire greatly over the years. I will forever recall when Ed would call muster and we needed to sound off with our first name and middle initial - and the variety of replies that we would make to try to get him to break his composure - didn't happen but once that I recall!! He will be deeply missed, especially at the monthly breakfasts I'm sure!
