Juliet was the kind of person who had the uncanny ability to make everyone with whom she came into contact, feel happier. One of the kindest and most caring souls I have ever had the pleasure of calling friend. I miss her so much. My continued thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I am a friend and a coworker of Julie's at Volunteers of America. We are sorry to hear that a caring, kind heart, and wonderful person like Julie had passed away. She was admired for her caring attitude towards all staff and residents. Everyday that Julie was here, she had brought joy and happiness. It was truly an honor and a gift to have her with us. We will always remember Julie.

Bryan,
Carlyn and I were shocked to hear from Larry of the death of Juliet. It is hard to imagine how difficult it is for you to lose your father and wife within such a short period of time. We are thinking of you and hope that happy memories can help you cope with the departure of such important people in your life.

My thoughts and prayers for Julie's family. She was a light to all who knew her and her soul will continue to be a shining star. I was blessed to have known her. She and I shared life and laughter as college roommates and although our paths diverged separate ways, I never forgot how special she was to me. It is hard to believe she is gone from this earthly plane, but I know in my heart, I will see her again.

My daughter Siri was lucky to have Mabel for a friend through high school and I was lucky to know Julie through that friendship. We are heartbroken for your family Mabel, please know you are in our prayers. Your mother was a sweet woman who clearly loved her family. I know how much she will be missed by all of you. May you be surrounded by the love of friends.
Peace to all of the Smebakkens.

I was fortunate enough to work with Julie at Castle Elementary. I enjoyed working with her and I looked forward to talking to her each day. She loved talking about her children and lit up when she spoke of them. She was definitely a proud mom. Julie took pride in her job at Castle and she loved working with the kiddos there. This is a big loss for the CID program. I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet and kind Julie. She was truly one of a kind. She was always positive and happy, even on those tough days at work. The world has lost a shining light.

Words cannot express how sorry I am about this world's loss of such a wonderful, caring person. "Ms. Smebakken" was a pleasure to work with. Knowing her as my friend was my complete honor. She loved helping children, and always took the time to listen to them. Adults don't always do that. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family who she always mentioned and valued so dearly. Please, please call on me if you need anything at all. [email protected]
