I hope a family member is still reading this Guest Book. I wanted to tell you that Rep. Joe Baca has cosponsored a resolution naming July as Sarcoma Awareness Month, in addition to the Claire Frick Act. I'm writing a press release today, including Rep. Baca's kind words, but I'd love to include Claire's photo, too. I'm a board member of the Sarcoma Alliance and a 10-year veteran of a different kind of sarcoma. You can reach me at 813-558-9675. I'm so sorry to have heard, belatedly, of the loss of your daughter, Clarie.
Our family knows first hand how the loss of a child changes ones life. We suffered our loss in 2004. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers as you move forward.
This kitty doesn't look a lot like Raja, but for some reason I thought of Raja when I saw it.

I went to school with Claire. She was in my choi our freshman year. I remember listening to her audition for a solo and thinking wow, such a strong voice from such a small girl. I wish I had known her better. I've followed her caringbridge since the beginning, I've cried, laughed, and hurt throughout the whole experience. It's made me realize how short and precious life is. Thank you for sharing all of the hard and good times. It changed my life. I hope you find some peace during this hard hard time.

I am a mother and a grandmother. Our little 11 month old grand daughter's name is Claire. I was so sad to read your story, but most of all I was touched by your undying love and devotion to her. We feel that way about our little Claire as well. I hope that your little angel will be watching over our little angel Claire, and may she be free.

Dear Jane, Jerry, Ellen, Hannah, Seth, and of course Raja & Bill,
My deepest condolonces and heartfelt prayers go out to each one of you, your extended familes, and the many, many freinds of Claire.
She has now reached the final stop in her journey and now forever at peace. The love, acceptance, and enduring support that you each have given Claire will be a memorial to who she was deep down inside her heart and soul.
Although it may be difficult to see or accept at this present time, her legacy is noted in II Corinthians Chapter 1, verses 3-7.
I truly believe Claire would have wanted her life, both her struggles and her victories to be passed to others now suffering from the same disease which took Claire's life.
Please forgive my boldness at this present time in Claire's passing but I do understand firsthand what it is to experience terminal cancer as I have experienced it myself, and may not get the opportunity to share this with all of you again. I am from St. Paul and now live in Washington DC. My prayers and spirit are with you Jane and your precious family.
May the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus...

Heaven has welcomed another angel. I read the story published in the Sunday paper and was moved to tears. I'm so sorry for the loss of this special young lady. She has meant so much to so many in her short time here. It sounds like she wasn't only a beautiful young lady, but full of talent and energy as well. We should all follow her example by living life to its fullest. My sinceresly sympathies are extended to those she left behind. May you find comfort in the company of each other and in sharing stories and memories. God bless you.

I did not get the privilege to meet Claire, but first heard of her story in an email sent from the University of St. Thomas while I was a student there and have followed her story since. I want to offer my sincere condolences, I can tell Claire was a wonderful, beautiful, strong young woman who touched many lives with her short time here on earth. May your family have peace, love and comfort in this tough time.
