Paula,
Earl was my branch chief for many years at the IRS. He was always very supportive as we talked some tough issues and offered much good advice. It was a pleasure to have known him and consider him a friend from the IRS.
My sympathy to you and the family.

Paula,
So sorry to hear of Earl's passing. He was a great friend of mine for many years. He was one of my instructors in basic Revenue Agent training in 1969. I also worked with him when I was RPM in St. Paul. Later I was a Management Achievement Program (MAP) advisor with him in the late 1980's. He was the most competent employee and instructor that I knew in my 35 year IRS career! He will surely be missed by many.

I knew Earl through work for over 30 years. He was a true gentleman and dedicated employee. When I was in my 30's and sick the IRS advanced me sick leave which I paid back. I always thought Earl was responsible for this kindness. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
