Dear David and Michael and family,
As I wrote in Mom's guestbook today, Mom and Kay are now re-united and I'm sure they are both carrying on their discussions about national and local politics, school district issues, their love of the written word (reading) and how much they all meant to each other (Dad, Mom and Kay).
The Mass for Mom at St. Columba Church in the Midway district of St. Paul will be on Sept. 30 at 7:00 a.m. in the chapel and the Mass for Kay will also be at St. Columba Church at 7:00 a.m. in their chapel on Fri. Oct., 1. Mom started her teaching career at St. Columba and then we were long time parishioners in the parish. I remember Kay also taught at Hancock grade school which was in the neighborhood.
I considered your mother like a second Mom and I am so thankful for her friendship. Have fond memories of all the day trips I took with her, Dad and Mom and also celebrating the holidays together. She will be missed, but we are comforted knowing that we will all meet again in our next life. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Love,
Ann Simerson Williams

David and Michael,
When I was just out of college I substituted at North End where I met your mother. Since then I have run into her many times at the "Village". It was always fun to chat with her and get caught up with her life. I am sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of your mom.
