To the Fourre Family -
I am grateful to have many wonderful memories of time together with you all. As a child coming to the Fourre home was always an adventure to me - so many kids, so much activity and I loved those experiences. Marie was in many ways like having a second mother, even opening her home to me for a period of time. She blessed many of us and she will be missed.

What a wonderful lady in the root sense of the word - "bread giver." She nourished so many people. Peter, Carole, Gigi, all your family, Sisters of St. Joseph ans Consociates, you are in my heart and mind during this time of sadness. May a myriad of happy memories sustain you as you grieve.

Dearest "Mama Marie" Thank you for opening your home to me and the other crazy St Thomas college students. You provided a home away from home for us. I have wonderful memories of my days on the top floor of the house on Iglehart, the meals we had and the ministry we shared at St. Thomas's campus ministry department. Peace be to you, see you on the other side.
With love,

To Marie's family: I send my sympathy and promise of prayer for all of you as you mourn Marie's death. Some of you I have known for a long time so I am aware of the closeness of your family. During 82-83 when I did post-graduate work at St. Thomas, Marie welcomed me into her home and the house on Iglehart became very special to me. Her hospitality and warmth were her gifts to me. I am certain that she is living life to the fullest now with our loving God who is probably setting the table for her!

Marie was a woman of service to her faith and now resides in the hands of God. To Larry, Connie, Liza, Peg, Gigi and extended family, my heart goes out to you as you grieve and celebrate her life now. She always invited me to the kitchen table to talk, even with the BIG black dog in tow. We sat in the swing talking family. We waved across the street as we passed. She holds a tender place in my heart.

Beautiful job on this, Fourres. I remember Aunt Marie having what seemed like a whole gaggle of her grand-nieces and grand-nephews over for caramel rolls in the morning or soup for lunch at her house on Iglehart. I even got to help her set the table by putting placemats out. I love that she used placemats for us little kids. She had such a distinct voice and her spirit will be missed.
