Dale and his wife Dorothy were customers at our store in Eagan, and was always a pleasure to visit with. He gave me one of his cards to show his history as a pilot. His stories and his personality were a continuous joy to hear and be around. Truly one of the "Good" guys in this world. He will be dearly missed.
Sincerely,
Ron and Stacy Rasmusson

Dale Peterson was one of the finest FAA Air Carrier Inspectors ever assigned to work with the pilots of Northwest Airlines.
He was always calm and fair, which helped put pilots receiving a check ride from him at ease. He never tried to trick or trip, and never played the "gotcha" game. Dale Peterson was a gentleman and an outstanding aviator.

Dale gave me my 727 Capt. qualification ride in Salina, Kansas. He was such a true gentleman that, believe it or not, it was an honest pleasure. I will always remember his kindness and consideration.
