Jamie, Sean, and Meghan, I was so shocked & sad to hear of your Dad's passing when I got to town. When I was younger your Dad was more brother than "brother-in-law" to me and I loved him dearly. That never changed for me. I love you all & will pray you find some peace at this time. Love and miss you all, Aunt Nancy.

This is all so tragic and surreal-My mind cannot find the words to express the devastation and misery of losing one of the finest human beings I have ever met. You were a man for all seasons Jimmy and touched so many lives along the way. The karma you lent to our reunions will always live in my memory. You were our oasis our lighthouse in the storm.
Good night sweet friend. Go gently...but not too gently...to that highway to heaven--go against the wind--that would of been your way Jimmy--an original--a proud tough patriot--I will miss you beyond belief.

Dear Brian and family. My heart goes out to you all! I hope you are all doing alright, or at least the best you can at this time. The passing of a loved one is never easy, and this time of year is really the worst. I pray (and I don't it that often) that you will all be strong and treasure the memories and love of Jim that no one can ever take away from you and help you through this terrible time. God bless you all.

December 28, 2008

God bless you all for the overwhelming show of support for our family and kind & loving words for my father. Life always seems too short when you lose the ones you love but I, and I am sure the entire family as well, find great comfort in knowing that he had so much and such far reaching love for him in all of you, his friends and brothers. Thank you all for making such difficult time a little bit easier to bear.

Jim, you made me feel proud to have served during the Viet Nam war. I got over being ashamed and you helped me realize how important a job we did as veterans. Because of you I joined the Patriot Guards about 3 years ago. And because of you, I finally joined a VFW club. I had JUST gotten home from joining the VFW and went online to tell you when I saw all these e-mails from people I don't even know, telling me of your passing. I didn't really believe it until I got the one from Judy. My heart sank and I literally went into shock. I never got the chance to thank you. I just moved to Texas from Colorado and when I told you, your reply was that I always found the best places to keep riding year-round. Well my Brother, today is Christmas. It's 66 degrees here and I rode my bike in YOUR honor today. You sent me a really cool Harley Christmas card this year and I'll keep it forever, that's all I have to remember you by. I LOVE you my brother......Gary (formerly, Scary Gary, Vice President of the Wolf River Dry Riders M.C.)
