Passed away January 28, 2010 Preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Gertrude Seehuetter; mother, Alice Shell; father, Gilbert Simonson; special aunt, Mae Seehuetter. Survived by husband of 53 years, John "Jack" Peterfeso; children, Anthony (Connie), Susan (Brian) Fry, Laura (Gary) Weiss, Richard (Jill), Jackie (Garcia) Beverly, Jerome (LeAnn) and Randall (Wendy); 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grand-children; brothers, David and Mike (Connie) Shell, David (Cathie), Robert (Julie) and Thomas (Ellen) Simonson; special sister, Carol (Keith); many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joan is a retired 30 year employee of 3M who loved her family greatly and enjoyed all her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Visitation Sunday, Jan. 31, 4-7pm, at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, and from 8:30am to 9:30am Monday also at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Feb. 1, 10am, at the Church of St. John of St. Paul, 977 E. 5th St., St. Paul. Interment Forest LawnCemetery. Memorials preferred to the church or the Pancreatic Cancer Society (pancan.com). 651-776-1555

Grampa Jack and family,
Gramma Joan was such a wonderful person, she will be missed terribly. We loved her the first time we met and will continue to hold a special place in our hearts for her. Hold tight to all your memories, and all her wise thoughts that she has shared with you.
