I am sorry for the loss of your brother. I knew Tom from the neighborhood, along with Jerry Dougherty, Paul Moriarty, Bud Schantzen, and the others. I have fond memories of Tom from the the 1950s. We called him the Professor -- we went to him with our questions, school or otherwise, and he always gave us answers. Tom and I drove out to California in the 50s one time, stopping in Las Vegas along the way. We couldn't find work here so we thought we'd go out there and find jobs. We had quite the experiences on that trip. We were broke by the time we wanted to come home so I had to call my mother to wire us $50. It's sad that another one of the old friends is gone.
