Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery in Kilgore. Mr. Still passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at his home in Jefferson.

Mr. Still was born on Dec. 20, 1931, to the late Sammie L. Still and Minnie Lee Still Gebhart in Longview. He married Helen Jane Bohannon in 1948 and they lived together in Kilgore and Big Sandy, before relocating to Jefferson in 1986. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator until his retirement. When not tending his garden, Clyde enjoyed fishing from his boat on the Little Cypress Bayou or in the woods, deer hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Jefferson. He will be missed by all his loving family and friends.

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Sandy and Ronnie Strong of Henderson and Brenda McWilliams and friend Lou Anne Smoot of Tyler; daughter-in-law, Tina Still of Harmony; brother, Charles Still of Big Sandy; grandchildren, Alan Layne of Henderson, Gena Doss and Scott of Kyle, Mark Layne of Henderson, Glen McWilliams of Houston, Grant McWilliams of The Woodlands and Rudd G. Still of Harmony; three great-grandchildren, Rhett, Reef and Roxli Doss of Kyle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends who affectionately called him "Uncle Bubba."

Mr. Still was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Still, who passed away in 2009; his only son, Rudd Edward Still; and two sisters, Frances Hebron and Geneva Edney.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Rader Funeral Home between 6 and 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701, or Heart to Heart Hospice, 100 W. Hawkins Parkway, Suite A, Longview, 75605.
