My deer sweet friend. How will I go to work every day knowing I won't see your fabulous smile, hear that infectious laugh, or get teased mercilessly for my politics!! You were an absolute pleasure and I will miss you every day. You made this world a better place and it will NEVER be the same without you. Until we meet again.....

Yes, Hugh Preston and Ron Ledford will be entertaining the many Ukiah citizens who now inhabit the fragrant pear orchards of Heaven --- If you listen closely, you can hear the laughter now .... Thank you to Ron and his family for adding so much to the life of the entire Ukiah community. My prayers are sent warmly to Dede and his family. Kathryn Chan

Ron made this world a better place. He was a wonderful man - generous, funny, and kind, and it seemed he was always helping someone. Dad considered him one of his best friends. I can hear them razzing each other now. Dad will be glad to see him again...perhaps they can compare bets as they watch today’s Kentucky derby!
My condolences to Dede and the Ledford family.

Ron was a very kind and generous man. I met him through working with disabled individuals, as he was always willing and able to rent to our folks, giving them a fair deal and much respect. It seems simple enough, respect for all people… but rare these days and abundant in Ron.
After meeting him this way I would see him about town, eating at the Maple with his crew or even at the Horse races. He was always kind, overflowing with humor and respect, friendly and shining beautifully. This is the Ron I knew. He will be missed by me and by many others.
My condolences to the Ledford Family.

Good bye (but only for now) to a good man. Ron always made sure his tenants got a fair deal, especially those tenants with disabilities. God's blessings to his family and close friends, and may peace and fond memories be yours.

Words can never convey the feelings we have for true friends.Just a few days ago as Ron left the crew at the coffee shop on his way back down south we shook hands as we always did and said "good Bye and travel safe" not imagining it would be the last time we'd see each other.Ron and I did business on a handshake for many years and that was better than any contract that could ever be written. We always shook hands on the return from a trip, and I am sure he is extending that big strong hand about now to the big guy in heaven.May they value their friendship from now til forever as much as I value the one I shared with Ron. God Bless you DeDe and all of your family. Louie Tollini

We were truly saddened to hear of Ron 's passing. As you know, I worked for the Savings Bank for almost 30 years and truly respected Ron in his capacity of Board member. My sincere condolences to the family, when I heard the news of Ron's passing I have to admit though I was very sad a smile came accross my face. I pictured Ron approaching Heaven and being greated by my father, Harry Bartolomei, Louie Ziana, Floyd Rovera all who welcomed him with open arms, golf clubs and a glass of wine. We will miss you Ron. Tami Bartolomei

The one thing I did learn from Ron was how to have fun. Growing up with Alan and Kim, Ron was always there to point the direction not only for fun but for the daily chores he would never make us forget that needed to be done. Extremely honest with his words and actions, one could not help but appreciate his presence and guidance, and of course the nicknames he gave you along the way! ha! Its hard not to miss those days because of him.

Very few people touched so many lives as much as Ron did. He brought laughter to wherever he went, but his compassion and genuine caring for his family, friends and community are what made Ron stand out. Golf was his passion. Those of us fortunate enough to have played a round or two with Ron will always remember his humor. We had alot of laughs. Ron lived life to the fullest We loved him and will miss him.

To Bruce and the rest of Ron's family,my sincere condolences to all of you. I did classified ads for you and Ron at the UDJ. Both of you were one of my very favorite accounts.
Ron was always so nice and funny on the phone. I never had the pleasure of meeting Ron in person, as I did you Bruce several days ago.
I mentioned Ron's passing to my uncle (Gary Borgna) who played ball with him in high school and he mentioned what a great ball player and great guy he was.
Again my condolences.
