RIP Harris you surely will be missed.
Very knowledgeable man. I'm truly going to miss stopping in to visit you and chit chat over topics on bees, skinning, watching you widdle and or carving and your painting of your bird carvings. Also conversations on how much work that was involved with your sap lines. As a very close neighbor to me, ( like across the road to me) I will never forget the memory of you out in the front yard toiling in your garden as I past by there every day.

A whittling knife in hand
Pipe smoke curling in the air
Stories of days gone by
Your willingness to share
So many memories we hold
With so much more to learn
We will miss those gifts you gave us
Forever we will yearn
Your friendship was a treasure
A special place within our heart
We will meet again my friend
For true friends never part

Harris was a unique man. With his loss is the end of an era. I will miss our visits together, the sharing of knowledge, the laughs. Even though I moved away from Weare, I would come see him every time I came back to NH. I will miss you old friend. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family.

Harris was a joy to visit. A man with a lot of talent and great life stories. Glad we knew him.

Harris was without a doubt one of the most interesting characters I ever met. I enjoyed many an hour hearing of the different chapters of his life all lived on his terms, always close to nature and the farm he loved.

Harris was such a big part of my childhood, catching my first fish, playing kick the can, keeping us busy on the farm! Packing eggs, learning to drive, and so much more!
