Frances Cox Obituary

Raymond - Frances P. "Frankie" Cox, 76, died Feb. 6, 2015, at her home in Raymond.

She was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Lawrence, Mass., daughter of the late Martin and Elsie (Hobsch) O'Donnell.

Frances grew up in and was a longtime resident of Lawrence. She graduated from Lawrence High School and Merrimack College. She married Bernard "Bernie" Cox and they had been happily married for 55 years. Frankie worked as an accountant at the Cohen and Newton Jewelers in Lawrence for many years. She and Bernie moved to North Andover, Mass., on Beech Avenue for 15 years before moving to Raymond.

Frankie was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping. Bernie was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Frankie was very active with their functions and fundraisers.

Family was the most important thing in Frankie's life.

She was predeceased by a son, Bernard F. Cox Jr., and her sisters, Patricia Marshman, Martha O'Donnell.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Kevin and Gina Cox, Sean and Pat Cox, Chris and Tina Cox; grandchildren, Kaylyne Stackpole and her husband, Michael, Kyle Cox, Cody Cox, Alex Cox, Shane Cox, Sean Cox, and Nevaeh Cox; one sister, Kathleen O'Donnell; and several nieces and nephews.

services: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, Epping, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
