Pauline Ames Obituary
Born in Manchester NH, she was the daughter of the late Hervey Nadeau and Gilberte (Beaulieu) Nadeau of Manchester.
Pauline graduated with honors from St. Anthony High School in 1960 and was employed for many years by various companies of the Bell System, including, most recently, Verizon. She retired in 1991. She served as Chief Steward for the Accounting Department and was elected President of the local chapter of the IBEW 2320, one of the first women to achieve that honor. She was admired and respected by all those who worked with her.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Ames of Ocala FL; her son, Daniel Ames, and daughter-in-law Susan Ames of Solon, Maine; and her daughter, Donna Ledoux of Manchester NH. She has six grandchildren: Kevin, Nicole and Jacob Ledoux, Cody and Hannah Ames, and Zachary Cleasby. Her family also includes a sister, Janet Cloutier of Orlando FL, and a brother, Ron Nadeau of Stratham NH, along with nieces and nephews.

What a blessing to get to know you both. I know she fought the fight as long as she could and didn't want to leave you all. Indeed she is now a precious angel in heaven. I'm sorry I wasn't able to see you Dave when you visited. My heartfelt condolences to you and prayers for God's strength to help you in your grief

I never got to thank her for all the work she did helping others when she was affiliated with IBEW 2320. Many will miss her.
