Mary, I extend my prayers to you and your family over Dave’s passing. I first worked with First Sergeant Danielson in the 1970s when we were both part of the 197th Field Artillery in Manchester. He had the respect of the men, and I enjoyed his ready smile and ability to work with all types. Our friendship continued when a few years ago he was named by the Speaker to be the representative of the House of Representatives on the Board of Trustees of the Judicial Retirement Plan. He was a reliable participant with sound judgment. All of us will miss him and his advice.

Dave will be missed so much. My condolences to Mary and the family. He served St. Elizabeth Seton Church, which is how he became a dear friend to my Mom, Gail Lennan-Morf. He sent special greetings to her on a landmark Birthday last August and helped me make her day special in spite of Covid restrictions. I did not know him as well. But when I did speak with him, he always had kinds words and made us laugh. Rest in Peace, Dave.

I was taken by surprise at the news of David's death. My heartfelt sympathy to you his beloved family, at this sad time. I will always remember that, as David and I would talk and laugh, across the aisle, in the NH House chamber, he was full of the love of life. Wanting to help, he deeply cared about people and the problems they confronted. The light in the world has been dimmed by his loss.

I was heartbroken to learn of Dave's passing. He was a friend and mentor to many of us involved with local government in southern New Hampshire, and we had been good friends for more than 35 years. I have been fortunate to enjoy his keen wit, warm smile, big heart and sense of humor (corny jokes and all). He has clearly left things better than he found them and we are all the richer for it. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Adam and your entire family at this difficult time.

I worked with Dave at the Fire Academy for many years. He was a strong advocate for the Fire, Police, and EMS Responders of NH. Of his many roles with the Academy, he worked behind the scenes planning the yearly 9/11 memorials. He was my mentor and friend, always willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed.

Although I have not seen David since grammar school. I have fond memories of good times. Also David and i were neighbors growing up just one block from each other. Plus attending the same grammar school. I sincerely send my condolences. And knowing David was religious, I believe "as the priest would say after the conclusion of mass." "Go in peace"

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob and I read the obituary together and it was the first time that we realized that we had both a MSMC and NHANG connection. Bob started out in the 197th and was also at the NHANG military academy.
May your memories always bring a smile to your face and a song to your heart.

We knew each other for a lifetime. Dinner at your house, staying over in Hampton Beach. The memory of your Mom expanding that role when needed. I was blessed to be a part of it all. Linda, Scott and Kevin my heart is sad but I take comfort knowing that beyond all of this he is at peace and right now seeing all of our loved ones once again together. Mary, and all the children please know that we offer you our prayers and positive thoughts. It was both a pleasure and an honor to serve with Dave in the New Hampshire House for six years together as he taught me much. But always there was that slight smile when our paths crossed as we both thought, "If only our parents could see us now!" Safe Home, Brother.

As a 25-year Democratic member of the NH House who once served on Finance and who lost my sister and a valued cousin to cancer, I grieve Dave's loss to the Finance Committee and our world. He was compassionate, intelligent and thorough. Cancer is an indiscriminate thief, and I extend my sympathies to his family.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
