I was saddened to hear of your loss. Brian used to come around the railroad often and I always enjoyed his visits. The bridge he built will be a lasting tribute to his determination and ingenuity.

Ellen, Steve and family,
You have remained forever in my thoughts over the years. Brian was just a toddler when I babysat for you... with brothers Dean and Jeff...the crazy FAST rides down the hill in Remsen on the big wheels with my brother John. Brian was the sweetest child. My heart goes out to all of you and your wonderful family. Fondly, Donna (Davies)McCullough

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Brian's passing. From the first time I met him, I knew he was one of the "good guys". He seemed to be insulated from falling into certain groups of people. Never part of a "click", but friendly in EVERY "click". He will be missed by all who have had the fortune to meet him. To the Roczen family, my heart goes out to you, words cannot express the sadness you are feeling. Rest in peace, my friend.

Dear Steve, Ellen, & Family,
I'm having a very difficult time putting into words the hurt and sadness I feel for all of you. What I can say is that since we met, I have always admired all that you have done for your family. There is a wonderful energy around your family. Brian, of course, brought that extra spark. I pray that you are finding comfort in the wonderful person he was knowing that you provided him such a strong base where he could be himself and become such an accomplished adult yet still be a kid at heart. I am so very sorry for this incredible loss, yet at the same time I am holding a smile in my heart just imagining all of you celebrating Brian's life. I wish I could be there. My thoughts are with you all, and I'm sending along a great big hug for each and every one of you.
God bless,
Michelle

To the Roczen Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Brian. I have many fond memories of Brian and us as kids when we spent summers camping at Wetstone State Park or playing outside at Grandma Julia's house. He was always a happy and energetic little boy. So many years have passed since I have seen all of you. I did not realize how much Brian was able to accomplish in his life. How proud you must be of him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
