SYLVAN BEACH - Mr. Harold A. Fogg, 70, of Sylvan Beach, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2021.
Harold was born in Middletown, NY, on December 6, 1950, the son of Jesse and Lily (Sylvester) Fogg and received his education in Middletown. Harold continued his education, earning a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and later earned his certification as an airplane mechanic. Harold proudly served his country in the US Air Force. At one time, Harold was employed in the aerospace industry, with E.G. & G., in San Diego, CA. Harold was a "prolific tinkerer", enjoyed working on his motorcycle as well as other vehicles, loved planes and was an amateur pilot. He was a true people person, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Fogg is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jesse Fogg, of Utica and Colin and Alison Fogg, of FL; one daughter, Angelica Fogg, of Utica; one sister, Ruby Fogg, of NH; two brothers and one sister-in-law, George Fogg, of Clinton and Harry and JoAnn Fogg, of New Hampton, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Elaine; parents, Jesse and Lily; and a brother, Robin Fogg.
Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, June 2, 2021, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. At the conclusion of visitation, a prayer will be offered and the US Air force will bestow military honors.
