Sandra Agans Obituary
Born in Lowville, on February 27, 1947, she was the daughter of Almon and Eleatha Hinton Rogers. A resident of Sylvan Beach for the past forty-seven years, Sandy was a graduate of Copenhagen schools. She married Thomas F. Agans in Chittenango on December 20, 1981.
Prior to her retirement, Sandy was employed with Stonehedge Nursing Home and later with RCIL as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed reading, hanging with her fur babies and grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband, Tom, are her children, Ronald Johnson of Sylvan Beach, Richard Johnson of Talcotville, Theresa (Mike Noble) Perry of Sylvan Beach, Robert Johnson of Sylvan Beach; five stepchildren, Roxanne (Jack) LaBarge of Indiana, Colleen (John) King of Massena, Tom (Angela) Agans of North Lawrence, Timothy (Michelle) Agans of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kathy Lynn (Randy) Newton of Brasher Falls; three sisters, Linda (Burton) Griffith of Boonville, Pam (Bruce) Cobb of South Carolina and Sherry (Robert) Dunaway of Port Leyden; two brothers, Rodney (Jenny) Rogers of Cherry Valley and Jeffrey (Laura) Rogers of Lyons Falls; brother-in-law, Raymond Griffith of Boonville; special friends, Nancy Gregory and Tammy Crawford; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her "Beach Kids". She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Griffith in 2024 and her brother, Almon Rogers and his entire family from a tragic house fire in 1979.
A gathering of family and friends will be a date and time to be announced by the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc, 260 Main Street, Oneida.
