FRANCES KYRKLUND

KYRKLUND, FRANCES (FARONE) April 1917 to June 21, 2012 Frances (Farone) Kyrklund passed away at 95 years of age. Frances was able to lead a healthy life most of her days, with the exception of the last year. Born and raised in Euclid, Ohio with eight siblings, her parents Anna and Michael Farone emigrated from Ripalimosani (Naples), Italy with their first child. As one of the oldest children, Frances grew up assisting her mother in the family candy store. She finished Collinwood High School (Euclid) and became trained as a bookkeeper which she enjoyed throughout her working career. After the WWII death of her brother Joey, Frances left behind snow and came to sunny San Diego to start a new life. She then met Karl Kyrklund, a sailor, whom she married. Frances worked at Challenge Dairy (Mission Valley) and Sears and lived most of her family days in the San Diego State and San Carlos areas. She enjoyed her flower garden, grandchildren and will be missed by all. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Karl (1991) after 46 years of marriage, and is survived by her three children, Jim, John and wife, Debra (daughters Taylor and Morgan) and Cindy (sons Chase, Garrett and great-granddaughter, Raylee).
