Bruce NORTHORP Obituary
NORTHORP, Bruce Lionel , CMMarch 26, 1927 - October 1, 2010 Retired RCMP Superintendent. Born and Raised in South Vancouver, Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, two sons Robert and Murray (Kim), Grandchildren Richard, Mathew, Krysten and Emma. Served in the BC Provincial Police and RCMP from 1949 until 1981. In 1979 was appointed to the Order of Canada. Special thanks to Doctors Thauli, Warner and Davies, staff at the Burnaby General Hospital and The Finnish Manor. Private family service. No flowers by request.

Dearest Louise, Bruce was special in many people's lives. My darling Ern often spoke of him kindly. He was a favourite cousin! Thinking of you often.

I was so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing.He and I worked on many high profile cases together over the years. He was a great police officer.
