Eleni Mellios, 76, returned to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 18, 2018 after her battle with end stage dementia. She was a very devoted loving wife, mother and sister whose strong spirit will always live on with her family and friends. Eleni was born in Sparta, Greece and moved to Montreal at 19 and then to North Delta at 37. She is survived by her husband Constantin; her two sons Nick and Loui; her 3 daughters-in-law Christina, Ayla and Sarah; her 9 grandchildren, Costa, Eleni, Athan, Kosta, Ariana, Amara, Aveya, Akay and Dilay; her sisters Vasiliki, Flora and Tasia; and many family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Nikolas and Maria; her brother Dimitri and her beloved eldest son, Ari, who she dearly missed and can now be with again. Both prayer and funeral services will be held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Community Church of Surrey, 9635 132 St, Surrey, BC. Prayer services will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m., with a light luncheon to follow the interment.
