Jean Mildred Bigmore

August 4, 1928 - April 14, 2015

Jean passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home which she loved. Mom took great pride in her independence and lived a full and busy life right to the end just as she wished for. For those who knew Jean the phrase "she did it her way" will bring a smile to your face. Family and friends enjoyed her lively nature and we all admired her positive attitude during many challenging times. She was kind, considerate and a good friend to many. She was devoted to and cared for family all her life and we cherished her in return. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and auntie. We are so grateful to have had such a remarkable woman in our lives. We'll always love you. Forever missed by daughters Barb (Ernie) and Glenda (Paul); beloved grandson Sam (Sabina) and great-grandsons Liam and Patrick; sister Mable, nieces & nephews and dear companion & brother in law, Bill. It is with much sadness in my heart that I mourn the passing of Jean Mildred Bigmore, mother of my dear sister-in-law, Barb. She was the sweetest, kindest, dearest Mother anyone could have. I envied my brother Ernie that he was so lucky to have Barb's mom in his life. To all the family, Glenda, Sam and Sabina, Liam and Patrick and extended family. I send my heartfelt sympathy and condolences. May Jean Mildred Bigmore rest in peace.
