JOKANOVICH _ Roy (Radomir) October 27, 1934 - August 6, 2007 It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Roy Jokanovich on August 6, 2007. Predeceased by his parents and brother (Bill), he will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Roberta and Carrie (Shawn) and nephew Michael (Margaret), and his many dear friends including Erhlinda and Rio. He attended U.B.C. where he was assistant coach to the UBC Thunderbirds. He was a gifted athlete who went on to play offensive tackle in the C.F.L. with the B.C. Lions, Toronto Argonaunts and the Calgary Stampeders. Later he went on to work with his father and brother in the family hotel business. Roy had a lust for life and will be greatly missed. A service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 15 at 1:00pm, Internment to follow, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B.C. Diabetes Society.
