There are so many good memories of working with Ben and credit unions. He was always someone who would have a minute for you. We'll miss him.

The Service was truly a celebration of a life well lived. The memories and special moments shared by the family were wonderful insights of a very caring person. Our condolences to Catherine of whom Ben always spoke of with such loving respect. We know she will miss her soul mate but realizes she is blest by the supportive family that they created together. It was an honour to have worked with Ben.

Our thoughts and prayers are with You All at this time of your great loss.
May God Bless you and may you find a Peace !
"God looked around his garden,
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest;
God's garden must be beautiful-He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain;
He knew you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered,
"Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For a part of us went with you,
The day God called you home."
With Love Alicja Turek

Ben's Legacy is so much more than the bricks and mortar, wood and metal that will bring him so often to mind. So much more are the kind and tender memories and the twinkle in his children's and grand childrens and great grandchildrens eyes. May God Bless and Keep you and bring you Peace - and many happy memories. We love you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with and for the whole family at this time of great loss. With you forever, though, are the memories each of you have of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, co-worker and friend.
Take comfort in knowing that you have many friends to offer support and prayers as you grieve.

Our condolences to Catherine, Ken and Don.
We had not seen Ben for many years, but recall his and Catherine's encouragement and interest in what we were doing, when I was editor of The Progress and Edna was teaching.
As the obituary recounts, Ben did much to enhance community life in the Fraser Valley, through his skills and interests in several areas.
We have now been in Ottawa for 12 years and try to keep in touch with the Valley. And when we do, we are reminded of many of the community's "landmarks" that Ben helped to shape.
Regards,
Lloyd and Edna Mackey
