It is with great sadness we announce that Lisa Marie Nahanee passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital on May 14, 2017, she was surrounded by love of family and friends. Lisa was born to her parents Late Eileen (nee Rogers) and Late Richard Nahanee on November 20, 1968 and descends from the Hamilton/Rogers and Antone Nahanee Families. She grew up in North Vancouver where she attended Ridgeway Elementary, then in Burnaby where she attended Moscrop Secondary. She can be remembered hanging out with cousins and friends on Mission IR No. 1 where she visited her Gran Violet and Gramps Arnold Nahanee. She worked at Diapers Naturally but can best be remembered for how particular she was about styling her hair, her fantastic cooking and love of bingo. She will be deeply missed by her common law husband Alan Patterson, stepfather Len Wade, her sisters Annette (Mark), Kim (Nikko) and Dawn (Richard); brothers Ronald and Darren (Angeline); nieces and nephews Amanda (Dillon), Jeffery, Alicia, Ronald Jr., Madison, Christopher, Jessica, Garrett; and great-grandniece Avelynn. Even though Lisa was small in stature her larger than life personality would fill the room. She will be greatly missed by all of us here at Royal Oak Clinic where she touched all our lives. Al, we are here to support you in any way we can during this sad time.
