Armando Rabago Obituary

Armando L. Rabago

Tulare - Armando L. Rabago was born June 1, 1929. In search of a better life, his parents, Miguel and Juanita, moved to California during WW II with Armando and his five siblings (Eva, David, Albeza, Hermelinda and Belia). Armando married Consuelo Rodriguez on November 8, 1951. Three days later, he reported for military duty. He served with honor in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and was awarded a Purple Heart. Armando and Consuelo (Connie) had four children: Amanda, Genaro, Sandra and Joel. They have six grandchildren (Christopher, Joseph, Jonathan, Michael, Lisa-Marie and Taryn) and four great grandchildren.

Armando obtained his AA degree from the College of the Sequoias and worked for a number of local businesses and a government agency. He was a devoted member of St. Rita's Catholic Church. During his life he enjoyed scouting, photography, coin collecting and gardening. At the time of his death, he was surrounded at home by three loving generations of his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother David, sisters Eva and Albiza, and son Genaro. Armando was a devout man, devoted to his family. He endeavored to conduct his life with the highest standard of integrity, an example which will influence generations to come. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

I'm sorry to learn that your Dad has passed away. I don't think I ever got to meet him, but he sounds like a great guy and I know he raised a great family.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family during this sorrowful time. May God be with you and all you love.
