Phyllis Anna Yaek

YAEK, PHYLLIS ANNA; age 89; a lifelong resident of Richmond; died Monday, December 9, 2013, in the Medilodge of Richmond. Mrs. Yaek was born March 3, 1924, in Ray Center, Michigan, to the late Otto and Martha (Eichbreght) Paetow. She married Edward Yaek in Lenox Township on April 26, 1947. Mr. Yaek died March 18, 2011. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond and formerly worked in the Memphis Schools cafeteria. She was a member of the Bi-Water Motors Club and enjoyed baking, gardening, and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her children, Everette and Peggy Yaek of Richmond, Elliotte and Marie Yaek of Richmond, Annette and Joseph Agosta of Columbus and, Lynnette and Dennis O'Brien of New Baltimore; sisters, Beatrice Calka of Sterling Heights and Jeannetta Logan of Marysville; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service was Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond. Reverend Kelsay Parker, Pastor officiated. Burial was in Meade Cemetery.
