STANLEY TULK Obituary


STANLEY GORDON TULK, JR. (Age 85)  
Of Burke, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Beloved husband of Carol Tulk for 52 years. Devoted brother of Norma Gaskin of Kennesaw, Georgia; loving father-in-law of Erin Tulk of South Riding, VA; proud grandfather of Rachel, Caroline and Emily Tulk. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Stanley Tulk. Stan served as a fighter pilot in the US Air Force and worked for many years for the Navy as a mechanical engineer. He later owned his own engineering consulting business. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the USO, PO Box 96322, Washington, DC 20090-6322 or online through www.uso.org or to the military support charity of your choice in loving memory of Stan Tulk.

Aunt Carol,
Thank you for calling and letting me know of Stan's passing. We will be thinking of you. I did not know he was a fighter pilot. RIP.
