My heart is heavy this morning having lost such a wonderful person and dedicated board member for the Healthcare Council of the National Capital Area for so many years. Omega will be remembered as one of the most positive and intelligent individuals I've known. Her suffering never stopped her from helping others and participating in worthwhile endeavors even when experiencing great pain. She remained an effective trustee up until her last week, making suggestions and given her valuable insights. Her contribution to society and to our organization will long be remembered. We have lost a beautiful soul.
