To Gene Jr.,
Your Dad was a friend and a client for many years. I had the deepest respect for him, and it was a pleasure and an honor to know him and work with him. He did much for the community and he will be sorely missed.
My deepest sympathy

Hi Gene Jr,
To say I am distressed over hearing of Mr. Ford's passing is an understatement.
As you know, Gene and Leslie gave me my first exposure and career opportunity in development. He and I developed a special bond as we talked about and visited properties/communities.
Our lunch conversation last month and sending you the pictures of Mr. Ford and I reminded me of our deep discussions about development, his passion for children and families and that I should try to see him as soon as possible. I did not get that opportunity and regret. Know that he was in my heart and mind.
I recognize that now is a challenging time for you and the family so I send my best, strength of mind and remind you that his spirit will always be with you.
Thanks for sharing him with us all these years and know that the lessons he provided will be used for the benefit of all I touch.
Peace and warm regards,
Al Browne
