CARIN BEASLEY Obituary

CARIN SILVERMAN BEASLEY
Carin (Silverman) Beasley, LMFT, LPC, MAC, CACIII, REBT, EMDR, BCPC, of Alexandria, VA, formerly of Lexington, MA died peace-fully in her sleep, her three loving dogs nearby, on Friday, March 27, 2020, at age 54.  She is survived by her parents, George & Harriet Silverman, her brother, Irv Silverman and his wife Debbie, her nephews Sean Silverman and Robbie Zucchari and her niece Michelle Silverman.  Carin was a true free spirit in every sense of that phrase; funny, eclectic and well-travelled. A good and loving friend and therapist, her effervescent nature brightened every room she entered. She dealt with her pervasive health issues and yet built a productive psychotherapy practice and was loved and admired by her clients and her many friends.
Donations in her memory may be made to A Forever Home, Rescue Foundation, https://www.aforeverhome.org/ or a charity of your choice.
A memorial service to be held in VA at a later date will be announced.

Carin and I were ballet partners briefly, 40 years ago. I fondly remember her wit, kindness and generosity introducing me to her friends. I'm very sad not to have stayed in touch.

All my love is being sent to you as you mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul. Although we lost track of each other through the years, she was always in my heart. I will never forget her bright-as-the-sun smile, and her laughter that lightened every moment. She was a wonderful AC to Alyssa, and for that, I'll always be grateful.

May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand and whisper sweet words of comfort as you traverse the dark days ahead. You are in my prayers, and may God grant Carin eternal peace and rest.

Carin was a light in my life since the day I met her. I will forever be grateful for her kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental advice and insight as a therapist. I am completely heartbroken and I am praying for her beautiful soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this terrible time.

Carin was a dear friend, incredibly caring and supportive therapist, and a cherished part of my family for the last 10 years. She was always there for us. Always. Lifting hearts, guiding us through our times of need, imbuing confidence when she sensed the low points. Gently challenging us to be at peace with where we were in our journey. Walking with us down our paths. A life line. Generous heart and spirit. She was a quiet fighter - through all her health challenges. She was never one to give up or give in. Always smiling. Always offering the hug. Genuine. Honest. Reassuring. Grace. I have so many gifts. A bracelet, a book, lotions, essential oils, a print with a dragon fly, forever memories. Thank you, Carin. Thank you for being you. Thank you for caring for us all. You changed lives. My heart is broken and I miss you everyday. Rest well my friend. Your encouraging words, gentle wisdom, and treasured counsel will live with me and my family forever. Peace and Love to Carin's dear family <3

I adored Carin and she sparkled from within always with a bright smile, a caring word, and interest in everyone; we shared a love of animals (and dragonflies!) and could have had a farm together with every species. I miss her daily and am still in disbelief. My love to you, Harriet and George. You raised an amazing woman. I am so blessed to have had her in my life and look forward to a time when, together, we can celebrate hers. Hugs and deepest sympathies to the entire family. I will always carry her warm spirit in my heart.
