Argelia Rivera Leon (Age 96)
On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, of Bethesda, MD originally from Jayuya, Puerto Rico. Beloved wife of the late Fernando Luis Leon; loving mother of Sonia M. Leon and Fernando Luis Leon, Jr. Sister of the late Jose M. Rivera (Pepito) and his wife, Alguita M. and the late William Rivera, MD and his wife, Pepita. Also survived by several nieces and nephews of the Leon and Rivera families. Visitation will be held at Holy Cross Church, 4900 Strathmore Avenue, Garrett Park, MD, Monday, November 12, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A memorial reception will follow the interment at 5225 Pooks Hill Rd., Party Room Level A, Bethesda, MD 20814. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
