Beloved husband of Kathleen Powell; father of David Jr. (Toko), Colleen Powell (Theo Jones) and Mary Frances Powell; grandfather of John and Maria Powell. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, July 21 from 2 to 3 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Graveside Service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
