DOROTHY EILEEN FERRARA (Age 98)
On Sunday, June 10, 2018, of Manassas, VA. Beloved wife of Peter; father of Peter (Miranda) and Linda (Mark Seidelson); grandfather of Gina Salmons (Bret), Margaret and William; great grandmother of Noah Salmons. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather at the Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Rd. Silver Spring, MD on Monday, June 25, at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras of Strathmore (mcyo.org or 301-581-5208) or the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DiabetesResearch.org or 1-800-321-3437).www.collinsfuneralhome.com

Your mother was a beautiful lady and devoted caregiver to your late father, Pete. Although she didn't know me, I always said hello to her (and before that, to your father) when I saw her during frequent visits to visit my mom at Arbor Ridge. Both of your parents were so blessed with such musical talent. They will always be remembered.
