Hello Tommie and family again. Here is your picture from the class picture. You are the third one in the row from the left, with your head at angle. The kid below you in a suit, is Bill Costopolus, as Bill signed my picture below your signature on the back of the class picture and he too grew a "Martian". I think you all drew these on my class picture, since I started this trend in our classes. Best, Mike

Hello Tommie, where ever you might be,
I saw the notice this morning in the Washington Post about your passing and I very sorry to have read that and I wish you and your family the best at this time of sadness. It is strange that I had the 1967 Class Picture from Weller Road Elementary out, as I was about to take a picture of our other classmates from Weller that passed away 10 years to his sister with a picture of her brother in 1967. So I am posting a picture of your signature on the back with a date. And yes, you drew a "martian" below your name, that we all drew these silly but funny to us, not to the teacher, of martian invasions, as this was the beginning of the space age. We where good friends at Weller, as we where in all the classes from grade 2 to grade 6 together. I have great memories of you and I will not forget you. We do go our separate ways at Belt Jr. High and at Wheaton High. Take care, Tommie. Your friend still, Mike
