ANDREW KILLGORE Obituary


ANDREW I. KILLGORE (Age 97)  
Of Washington, DC and Alabama, Publisher of The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs and retired U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2016 at the Washington Home and Community Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie N. Killgore, son of the late Robert M. and Elmae W. Killgore, brother of the late Merle Killgore Harrison, Grace Killgore Perolio and Robert M. Killgore, Jr. Ambassador Killgore was predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth N. Killgore and is survived by three children, Andrew N. Killgore, Jane G. Killgore (Tom D'Albani) and Roberta K. McInerney (John); and by seven grandchildren, Andrew and Tempe Krieger, Lindsay, Jeffrey and Nicholas D'Albani, Ian and Colin McInerney. A celebration of Ambassador Killgore's life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs.
