I was saddened to hear of Mr. Kearns' passing. My parents had a long history with the Kearns' through the Montgomery County school system and as good friends. My thoughts are with the family.

Mr. Kearns was one of the most wonderful teachers at Gaithersburg High School in the 50's. Several of my brothers also had him and they say the same thing, he didn't care if you were in any of his classes or not he would help you or find the right person to help you with any of your school problem. There wasn't a teacher in any of my children or grandchildren school's that would go out of there way to help a student as Mr. Kearns did. My deepest condolences to his entire family from here in Texas.

Mr. Kearns was a wonderful teacher, and a fine man. I enjoyed seeing him and his wife, Jean, at our High School reunion several years ago. My sincere condolences to his family.
