On Friday, June 20, 2003 of Reston, VA. She is survived by many loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 3 p.m. at Reston Community Center, 2310 Colts Neck Rd., Reston, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to (Gifts from the Heart) the JoAnn DeMaria Memorial Fund, 1549 Autumn Ridge Circle, Reston, VA 20194. Arrangements by ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, Herndon, VA.

Ms.DeMaria was one of the great teachers at Hutchison Elementary.
She wanted all the kids to be smart.
She is really special to me. She was the smartest and caring person I ever knew. I wish she didn't have to leave so soon. I will miss her very much.

Ms.DeMaria was a very special person. She helped everyone in everyway she could. She was one of my favorite teachers at Hutchison Elementry school. I will always admire her for her teaching skills. There is no other person like her. I will always remember her,miss her,and love her.
