SIMPKINS SUSAN ELOISE SIMPKINS On Saturday, August 21, 2010 Susan Eloise Simpkins of North Potomac, MD. Beloved wife of Charles J. Simpkins; loving step-mother of James Michael Simpkins; sister of Sally Westover, Linda May, Cathy DiCarlo, Bill Martin, Bobby Martin and the late Mike Martin; aunt of Jason Westover, Persephonie Martin, Phillip Martin, Joseph Guy, Jennie Guy, Kevin Guy, Keri Simpkins and Amber Simpkins; great-aunt of Payton and Kingsley Westover. Friends may call at DEVOL FUNERAL HOME, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Derwood Bible Church, 16011 Chieftain Avenue, Derwood, MD 20855 on Friday, August 27 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Susan''s name to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation , 14955 Shady Grove Road, Suite 165, Rockville, MD 20850 (Please designate on your check memo Pediatric Unit/Susan Simpkins). The last time I saw Sue I was in the hospital and she was giving me a pep talk to get healthy and get discharged. That's how I'll always remember her. I'll be praying for Chuck and Mike, and the rest of her family.
