Anyone who knew Dennis knows he could be as ornery as anyone alive, but he had a heart of gold and would do anything for you within his capability or capacity. He was always there for me when I needed him. He knows how much me meant to me, as kids growing up and our whole lives. I'll miss him, even his late night calls and opinionated discussions. I will never forget Dennis welcoming me in to his home when things weren't so great for me several years ago. His hospitality was unwavering. I will always appreciate the conversations that I had with Dennis several years ago. He was kind and excepting. I will never forget the advice and wisdom he gave me during a time of turmoil in my life. I kept up with him through my cousin Karen Snead. My thoughts go out to all of his friends and family who cared so deeply for him.

I will forever miss Dennis as he was my BEST friend. Life without him will be not be the same. He was quite the character. Sometimes we would be on the phone for hours talking about nothing; it was just about being together by phone as we could not be any other way. My hope for him is that he has at last found peace as his suffering here on Earth is over. Nobody can believe that I am the x-wife and feel so deeply for him. I will love him forever. I have peace knowing that he is no longer in pain but will miss him every day of my life. He remaims a special part of my life, not to be forgotten.
